The World

The world didn’t

Fall apart

There are still

Statues of art

There are paintings

On display

That I can’t pull

My eyes away

The flowers and the trees

Are lovely

With beautiful skies of

Blue above me

 But what I really

Need the best

Is to have

A day of rest
