Golden Years

I’ve finally reached my golden years

I’m now 82

These years are only golden

If it’s the life I want to pursue

I can close my eyes and say

All goes well today

Or close my eyes and say

How can I help someone today

Something I can say right now

Is something I can’t rebuff

“Don’t sweat the small stuff”

I think I’ve said enough
