After many years passed
It was her one true love
She married at last
She married here
In this country
But her husband went to school
In Italy
They went to Italy
On a ship
Europe was wonderful
It was a wonderful trip
They gave birth to a baby girl
And returned to the States for that
But came back to Italy
Cause that’s where school was at
They lived in Italy
Til their little girl was two
Then back to the States
Traveling was mostly through
The marriage was difficult
But we managed to survive
And I do love my husband
